Great and small

Even before the pandemic outbreak, the advantages of small-scale, boutique law firms were known - boutique enterprises offer a more specialized industry focus and more knowledgeable advisory than the general practice large firms. The current pandemic highlights yet another advantage of the small-sized legal enterprise: the ability to quickly adapt to new circumstances. During the current pandemic, Advokatfirman Oebergs takes pride in our ability to seamlessly adapt our business operations to remain accountable to cliets.

Being small has for example allowed Oebergs staff to maintain normal coordination and task-division during the pandemic. Since information travels faster within small enterprises than in large firms, coordination becomes easier. This means that Oebergs has been able to maintain regular coordination and division of responsibilities in a situation that for many has posed great organizational challenges.

Our nimble organizational structure has also allowed Oebergs to quickly respond to client needs during the current pandemic. This is a period when time is dire for clients, who must quickly respond to external changes. Our flat organizational structure has allowed Oebergs to quickly tailor and present projects for our clients’ specific needs.

Finally, as a boutique law firm, Oebergs has been able to swiftly implement new software that facilitate collaboration with clients who are working from home. Over the course of this spring, our entire workforce has seamlessly switched over to paperless communication and virtual meetings, while upholding our strict confidentiality policies.

Being “boutique” means being able to quickly adapt to unpredictable events, and to remain customer-focused and client-centric even in times of great turmoil. The current global pandemic is a showcase of this, but the ability to adapt quickly neither start nor ends here. The ability to adapt to change is the new normal, and Oebergs stands ready to assist clients through a future of unforseeable changes.
