Fortum Power purchases wind power companies in Ostrobothnia – engages in cooperation with Vindin Ab/Oy
Fortum Power and Heat Oy have purchased six planned wind farms in Finnish Ostrobothnia, and entered a close cooperation with Vindin Ab/Oy. OEBERGS has avised Vindin in the transaction and assisted in the development of the projects.
The transaction enables the companies to use their shared expertise to enhance the development of costeffective wind power, and to strengthen their competitiveness in these areas.
Through the transaction, Vindin will maintain its activity in Ostrobothnia, and be responsible for the continued development of the six wind farms. Four of the six planned wind farms are located in Närpes, and the other two are in Poikel and Molpe in Korsnäs.
