The betterment of society is a construction process, and as a law firm engaged in the infrastructure sector, we are proud to be part of the nuts and bolts of it. 2019 introduced a range of new projects which will have a direct improvement of peoples’ livelihood. This year, we are looking forward to following the construction phase of the projects. The follwing are three of the infrastructure ventures that we are looking forward to during 2020:

1. The continued and new construction of Swedish wind power. During 2019, we witnessed an unforseen interest in the Nordic wind power market, both from domestic and foreign investors. With the growing interest in renewable power in Northern Sweden, particularly for the energy provision for server halls, we are not only looking forward the construction wind turbines, but to the construction of supporting infrastructure in rural soceties.

2. The development of Swedish railway infrastructure. In the era of green transportation, the Swedish railway has become increasingly popular for both freight- and passenger traffic. Given the Swedish industries’ high requirements on sustainability, reliability and cost-efficiency in their freight transportation, parts of the railway system is under immense development, with new projects underway during the year.

3. The development of renewable energy sources for public and private transportation. We are operating in a fast-paced era of renewable energy development. New methods are currently emerging for the powering of both cars and public transportation. During 2020, we are looking forward to assist in this progress through projection of charging stations and other society-wide infrastructure.

We are convinced that the road to progress is paved and lit - all society-wide developments start with reliable infrastructure. This year, we are thus eager to follow the construction of cohesive, sustainable and well-functioning societies, and we would like to thank our clients and partners for their continued trust in this process.
