2020 and the new nature of CSR

Newsletter December 2020.png

The current Covid-19 pandemic highlights a new area of corporate social responsibility (CSR) in Sweden. As no formal lock-down regulations are currently in place, enterprises are themselves responsible for adapting operations and services to reduce viral transmissions. This requires solidarity, social conscience, and a shared commitment to the betterment of society.

As an integrated part of societal development Advokatfirman Oebergs is proud to shoulder this new form of corporate social responsibility. We are doing so by enforcing a strict work-from-home policy, where no employee is allowed to travel to or carry out legal services from our Stockholm office premises. We also conduct all meetings with clients and partners through video link and issue all document signing through online tools. These policies are long-term adaptations to our operations until the current public health challenge is under control.

We support sustainable development of societies, and we are thus committed to do what is right when needed for the public good. By the same token, we guarantee clients and partners that we will uphold our capacity and expertise in the development of sustainable energy and infrastructure ahead.
